General terms and conditions

This is a translation. If they differ, the German version applies.

Note (internal, remove before going live): These terms and conditions come from studyquick.io (Webflow, version of September 2025). They describe distribution channels and features that may no longer match the current product: download via the App Store/Google Play and in-app purchases, sharing and publicly making available uploaded materials, podcasts, “AI tutor”, the service description at www.studyquick.io/produkt (which does not exist on the new site), the website www.studyquick.io and the Integrated Services annex (One AI, Writesonic). Have them legally reviewed and adapted to the current product and studyquick.ai before going live.

General provisions

Welcome to the Studyquick app (the “App”). We created this App so that people who love learning can simply learn smarter. All services connected with the App are governed by these general terms and conditions.

1. General and scope

  1. These general terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the services of Optibi BV, Wilderoosstraat 2, 9000 Gent, Belgium, registered in the Register of Legal Entities (RPR) of Ghent under company number BE0540564865 (hereinafter also referred to as “we” or “Studyquick”), which are provided to the user (hereinafter the “User” or “you”) in connection with the use of our website www.studyquick.io or our Studyquick App.
  2. These Terms and all services that we provide with and via our Studyquick App are directed exclusively at consumers. Certain special rules apply to consumers, to which we draw attention at the relevant points in these Terms where applicable. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or independent professional activity (Art. I.1, 2° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, WER).
  3. In addition to these Terms, in particular with regard to registration and the contract formation process for in-app purchases, we make use of services provided by independent third parties (hereinafter “Third-Party Services”), such as the distribution platforms used to download the App, the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Third-Party Services are not our services and may be subject to their own general terms and conditions, which will be indicated in an appropriate manner. In the event of any conflict, the general terms and conditions of the third-party provider shall prevail. The respective provider of the app store does not become a party to the contract with regard to the use of the App.
  4. Users’ general terms and conditions shall not apply, regardless of whether you expressly refer to them or we do not expressly object to them. Other general terms and conditions shall only become part of this contract if we expressly agree to them. Individual agreements between us in offers, order confirmations, declarations of acceptance, etc. take precedence over the provisions of these Terms.

2. Subject matter of the contract

  1. With the Studyquick App, we provide you with an app that makes it easier to learn content of various kinds. The services of this App are developed by us and made available online for you to access or use. All services that we provide to you with our App and its technical capabilities are hereinafter also referred to as the “Services”.

  2. The subject matter of these Terms is the provision of the Studyquick App free of charge and your ability to use this App via a free profile. In addition, you have the opportunity to book additional features for a fee.

  3. We act neither as a broker nor as any other kind of intermediary. Users are solely responsible for contracts concluded between users. We also do not become a party to such contracts.

  4. Our Services include in particular:

    • processing and summarising teaching material (text, video and audio recordings)
    • creation of study notes, mock exams and podcasts by AI software
    • a dedicated AI tutor that answers all questions
  5. Furthermore, in our App you have the option to upload teaching materials and notes you have created yourself (hereinafter together also referred to as “Materials”), to share them with other users, to view materials of other users and to manage or archive them for yourself as you wish. All Materials uploaded by you may be made publicly available by us via the internet. In this context, please also note the provisions of clause 3(6) and clause 4(3) of these Terms.

  6. An overview of the full range of services of our App can be found in the service description, which is available in its current version on our website www.studyquick.io/produkt.

3. Use of our Services & registration

  1. To access the App, you must first download and install the App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store (hereinafter together the “App Store”). This requires an existing or newly created account for the App Store. By downloading the App from the App Store, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, limited to the term of the contract, to install the App on a mobile device. The licence applies to all mobile devices linked to the App Store account.

  2. Use of our Services generally requires free registration as a User, unless only the free trial version of the Studyquick App is used. Natural persons with limited legal capacity may register as Users with the consent of their parents or legal guardians, as may natural persons with full legal capacity. If you have not yet reached the age of 13, i.e. you are under 13 years old, you must obtain the consent of your parents or legal guardians to use Studyquick and provide us with proof of this. Where applicable, we will request this from you during the booking process.

  3. To register, the registration form provided on our website/in our App must be completed fully and truthfully, stating a username, and sent to us. Your username must not infringe the rights of third parties or offend public decency. We are entitled to request written evidence to verify the information provided.

  4. By submitting the registration form, you make a binding offer to us to conclude a user agreement for a free basic version. The user agreement is concluded when we confirm the registration and activate your user account. Each User may register only once.

  5. The following minimum technical requirements must be met in order to use our Services:

    • internet connection
    • up-to-date internet browser/App
  6. We have the right to block or exclude you from using our Services and to delete your user account and all Services booked by you if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you are in breach of material obligations under these Terms or of the law. In such a case, we will inform you of the planned exclusion by email and give you the opportunity to comment within a reasonable time. In any event, we will take your legitimate interests into account when deciding on the block or exclusion and will assess your comments accordingly. We will notify you of the outcome before the block or exclusion. The right of extraordinary termination remains unaffected.

4. Your right to use our Services

  1. You receive a simple, non-exclusive right to use our Services, limited in time to the term of the respective contract and unlimited in territory.
  2. You are not entitled to exhibit, communicate to the public, in particular make available to the public, edit, adapt, translate, decompile or otherwise modify our Services. Your rights under Book XI WER (provisions on computer programs) remain unaffected.
  3. When creating and sharing posts, uploading files, materials and images, and in connection with disseminating information in the course of using our App (hereinafter together also referred to as “Your Content”), you are yourself responsible for ensuring that you do not infringe any rights of third parties, in particular any copyrights or positions of third parties protected by data protection law, and that you grant us the rights of use in Your Content that we need to provide our Services. Unless we request more extensive rights of use from you in an individual case, you therefore grant us a simple right of use in Your Content that is unlimited in territory and time and applies without restriction to all types of use. We have the right at any time to remove or block Your Content if we find that it infringes the rights of third parties, these Terms or statutory provisions.
  4. The content of our Services (in particular in our App) is our exclusive property or subject to our exclusive rights, or the property of / subject to the rights of our service providers. All content is protected by national and international law, in particular copyright law. Unauthorised distribution, reproduction, exploitation or other infringement of our industrial property rights and copyrights will be prosecuted under civil and/or criminal law.

5. Integrated Services

  1. To provide our Services, we in part rely on the services of other providers that work with artificial intelligence (hereinafter also “Integrated Services”). Which parts of the Services are affected, which Integrated Services these are and by which provider they are provided can be found at any time in the current version of our Integrated Services annex to these Terms. You are yourself responsible for informing yourself about any newly added Integrated Services.

  2. When using Services that rely on Integrated Services, the following applies:

    1. We give no guarantee or warranty as to the accuracy and usability of the answers and results produced by the Integrated Services. These may therefore well be wrong. You should therefore not base actions you derive from the answers and results on their content without checking them, but question them critically if they seem odd to you.
    2. We give no guarantee or warranty as to the permanent availability of the Integrated Services. As these are provided by other organisations, we have no influence over their technical availability.
    3. We give no guarantee or warranty that you are free to use the answers and results. We expressly point out that all answers and results may be protected by (copyright) law. Such protection generally prohibits, in particular, any further distribution of the answers and results by you.
    4. You decide for yourself, and are therefore yourself responsible for, which information and data you share with our Services that rely on Integrated Services. Although we check the Integrated Services for compliance with applicable laws and our policies, you should not share any information or data that is subject to data protection or confidentiality, or that constitutes particularly sensitive information about yourself or third parties.
  3. We accept no responsibility for answers and results, or for actions or omissions on your part, resulting from the use of Services that rely on Integrated Services. This means that we are not liable for the accuracy of the answers and results of the Integrated Services or for the actions and omissions that result from them for you. Otherwise, we are liable in accordance with the liability provisions set out below.

  4. For the use of individual Integrated Services, their providers may lay down requirements and rules that go beyond the licence agreement and these Terms. These can be found in particular in our Integrated Services annex to these Terms, which contains the privacy notices and the terms applicable to the use of the Integrated Services. You are yourself responsible for complying with these requirements and rules of the Integrated Services that go beyond the licence agreement and these Terms. If you breach them, the legal consequences of clause 3(6) and clause 7 of these Terms apply in particular.

6. Availability

  1. For technical reasons, we cannot guarantee permanent and complete availability of the servers on which our App is operated. The availability of our App or of individual services may therefore be restricted at times, in particular due to necessary maintenance or repair work.
  2. We point out that restrictions on or impairments of the use of the App may occur that are beyond our control. These include in particular actions of third parties not acting on our behalf, technical failures beyond our control and force majeure.
  3. We reserve the right to restrict access to the App, in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, due to maintenance work, capacity concerns and other events beyond our control.
  4. In the event of force majeure, we are entitled to postpone our Services for the duration of the hindrance plus a reasonable start-up period, insofar as it is actually impossible for us to provide the Services. Force majeure means events for which neither we nor a subcontractor are responsible and which were not foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded, such as operational disruptions, strikes, lockouts, staff shortages, pandemics and epidemics, orders of public authorities and similar circumstances. The right of each party to terminate the user agreement for good cause in the event of prolonged force majeure remains unaffected.

7. Liability

  1. Our liability under the contract concluded between us for damage suffered by you, on whatever legal grounds, is limited in amount to the damage typically foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and in principle to material contractual obligations, provided that the damage was caused neither intentionally nor through gross negligence by us or by a legal representative or vicarious agent. A material contractual obligation is an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely.
  2. The above limitation of liability does not apply, and our liability is unlimited in amount, in the event of injury to life, body or health and in the event of intentional, grossly negligent or fraudulent conduct. The same applies where we have assumed a guarantee in writing for the quality or durability of a service to be provided by us.
  3. Our liability under the Wet van 25 februari 1991 betreffende de aansprakelijkheid voor producten met gebreken (Belgian Product Liability Act of 25 February 1991) remains unaffected.
  4. If claims are brought against us by users or third parties on account of actions taken by you in our App and resulting infringements of rights, without any responsibility or fault on our part, you are obliged, subject to applicable statutory rules on liability and responsibility, to indemnify us against all claims in this connection. You must also reimburse us for the costs of an appropriate legal defence and any other costs arising from the claim.

8. Principles for the provision of our Services

  1. Our software is online-based. A working internet connection is required to use our software.

  2. With our App and its features, we merely provide you with a technical basis for the purposes that you wish to achieve with it within the limits of the Services acquired (see in particular the service description at www.studyquick.io/produkt). We accept no responsibility for actions carried out with our App or for content processed with our App. All actions you carry out and all content you process with our App are governed exclusively by the agreements and contracts you have with the third parties with whom or for whom you use our App, or by the law.

  3. The use of our Services is in principle governed by the statutory provisions on tenancy (rental) law. Maintenance measures such as fault rectification, updates or further developments form part of our Service. More extensive support is offered by separate agreement. Beyond the maintenance measures, the statutory warranty rules for defects in rented property apply.

  4. Adjustments, changes and additions to our Services, as well as measures to identify and rectify malfunctions, will only lead to a temporary interruption or impairment of accessibility if this is absolutely necessary for technical reasons.

  5. You may not make our Services available to third parties for commercial use.

  6. Links or features in our Services may take you to third-party websites and software that are not operated by us and for which we are not responsible. Such links or features are either clearly marked or recognisable by a change in the browser’s address bar or a change in the user interface.

  7. We reserve the right to change and adapt our Services and the related documents and annexes, and to increase or reduce their functionality, taking your interests into account, provided that we do not thereby breach our primary contractual obligations towards you. We will inform you in good time in advance of material modifications and settings that change our contractual relationship with you. You have the right to object to changes. If you object, we will try together to find alternatives. If none are found, both parties have the right to terminate this contract extraordinarily.

  8. We protect our systems against viruses. Nevertheless, a virus infection can never be completely ruled out. Furthermore, unauthorised third parties may send messages using our name without our consent which, for example, contain viruses or so-called spyware or link to web content containing viruses or spyware. We have no influence over this. You should therefore check all incoming messages sent in our name. This also applies to any messages from other users.

  9. We are not responsible for damage or loss of data that may arise from the installation on your devices of software not originating from us.

  10. You undertake under no circumstances to use another user’s device or App Store or App account, login name or password without authorisation. If a third party uses one of the accounts after obtaining the access data because the user did not adequately secure them against access by others, the user must accept being treated as if they had acted themselves.

  11. If there is a reasonable suspicion that access data have become known to unauthorised third parties, we are entitled, but not obliged, for security reasons and at our sole discretion, to change the access data ourselves or to block the use of the account without prior notice. We will inform the authorised user of this without undue delay and, upon request, communicate the new access data to them within a reasonable period. You have no right to have the original access data restored.

  12. You must inform us without undue delay as soon as you become aware that unauthorised third parties know the access data to your App Store account or that unauthorised third parties are using your device. We point out that, for security reasons, access data should be changed regularly.

  13. When using our Services, you are prohibited from:

    • infringing third-party rights such as trade marks, copyrights and name rights,
    • harassing other users and third parties,
    • using measures, mechanisms or software in connection with the App that may interfere with the function and operation of the App,
    • taking measures that may result in an unreasonable or excessive load on the technical capacities of the App,
    • blocking, overwriting or modifying content,
    • adding elements to the App or changing, deleting or otherwise modifying elements of the App,
    • copying, extracting or otherwise using graphic elements or attempting to decompile the source code of the App (subject to § 69e UrhG),
    • using tools that interfere with the operation of the App (in particular so-called “bots”, “hacks”, etc.),
    • obtaining premium features or other advantages, such as the systematic or automatic control of the App or of individual features of the App, through the use of third-party software or other applications, or exploiting program errors to your own advantage (“exploits”),
    • distributing commercial advertising for third-party products or programs in connection with our Services,
    • using documents, files, third-party IT systems and data containing malicious code or viruses in connection with our Services,
    • deploying mechanisms, software and scripts beyond the features and interfaces provided, in particular where this blocks, modifies, copies or overwrites our Services, and
    • impairing our services through hacking (Art. 550bis Sw.), computer sabotage (Art. 550ter Sw.), computer fraud (Art. 504quater Sw.), computer forgery (Art. 210bis Sw.) of the Belgian Criminal Code (Strafwetboek, Sw.), or other criminal offences.

9. Term of contract, cancellation & termination

  1. The term of the contract between us depends on the term of the Service booked by you. The free contract for the basic version generally runs for an indefinite period. Please refer to the respective pricing model for the terms of Premium versions.
  2. In line with the statutory obligation regarding withdrawal, we offer you the option, for all paid packages, to cancel the purchase contract concluded for them within two (2) weeks of the date on which your booked package was activated.

If you wish to cancel the purchase contract, you must notify us of the cancellation within the cancellation period of two (2) weeks (see above) at least in text form (e.g. by email to [email protected]). We will then refund the full purchase price to you within two (2) weeks.

  1. The contracts between us may be terminated with one (1) month’s notice before the end of the contract term. If you have booked a paid Premium version, you send the termination in text form (by email) to Studyquick, or you click the “Manage” button and then “Cancel” in your user account. If you use the basic version, termination takes place by deleting your user account.
  2. The right of extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected. Good cause exists for us in particular if (i) you seriously breach these Terms, or (ii) you are in default of payment of the charges for the use of paid Services despite a reminder and a grace period for payment of at least two calendar weeks.

10. Applicable law & jurisdiction

  1. All rights and claims arising out of or in connection with the contract are governed by Belgian law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection law of your place of habitual residence takes precedence.
  2. The courts of the judicial district of Ghent have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory statutory rules on jurisdiction in favour of consumers.

11. Data protection

  1. We collect, process and use personal data in connection with the provision of our App. All information on how we handle personal data in connection with the contract can be found in our privacy policy, which is available at any time at studyquick.ai/en/privacy.
  2. If, in the course of using our App, you are able to obtain knowledge of personal data from us or from third parties, you warrant that you will process such data only in a lawful manner, for a purpose consistent with the contract and in compliance with the statutory requirements.

12. Confidentiality

  1. In the course of the cooperation, both parties obtain knowledge of trade secrets of the other party or of third parties. A trade secret is information that is neither generally known nor readily accessible to persons who normally deal with this kind of information, that therefore has commercial value and that is consequently the subject of reasonable confidentiality measures (cf. Art. 2 of the Wet van 30 juli 2018 betreffende de bescherming van bedrijfsgeheimen, the Belgian Trade Secrets Act of 30 July 2018). A trade secret is furthermore information that is marked as a trade secret, that is protected by industrial property rights or copyright, that falls under banking secrecy or data protection, and in whose confidentiality there is a legitimate interest. Information is not a trade secret if it was known to the other party before disclosure, became known to the public after disclosure without the involvement of the receiving party, was obtained by the receiving party from an authorised third party, or was developed by the receiving party itself.
  2. The receiving party, and everyone who comes into contact with trade secrets as intended, is obliged to treat the trade secrets as strictly confidential and to use them or disclose them to third parties and employees only where this is necessary in connection with the business purpose. In all other respects, the receiving party shall protect the trade secrets from disclosure to third parties.
  3. Objects, as well as files or other intangible objects containing trade secrets, must be deleted or returned to the disclosing party without undue delay at the disclosing party’s request or at the latest upon termination of the contractual relationship.

13. Handling of illegal content

We set out the following provisions because we are obliged to do so under the “Digital Services Act”, Regulation “(EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services” of the European Union.

The aim of the Digital Services Act is to establish rules that create a safe, predictable and trusted environment for people who use platforms and websites (hereinafter “Platform”) such as ours.

The Digital Services Act regulates in particular the handling of illegal content on our Platform and obliges us to take specific measures, which we describe in more detail in these “Provisions on the Digital Services Act”.

a) Moderation & statement of reasons for the removal of illegal content

  1. We remove, block or restrict illegal content on our Platform. “Content” within the meaning of this clause means any information of whatever kind. This information is “illegal” if it violates our terms of use, service descriptions, guidelines or applicable law.

  2. Illegal content may be reported by users, customers, partners or third parties. For the course of such a reporting procedure, see point b “Notice and action mechanism”.

  3. Insofar as reported content, or content identified by us ourselves, is illegal and we have removed, blocked or restricted it, we provide a statement of reasons for our decision to remove, block or restrict that content and for any suspension or termination of the provision of our services in whole or in part to the person who published the illegal content, unless it is deceptive, high-volume commercial content. In this statement of reasons, we communicate in particular the following points:

    1. information on whether our decision entails the removal of the information, the disabling of access to the information, the demotion of the information or the restriction of the visibility of the information, or the suspension or termination of payments related to that information, or whether the decision imposes other stated measures in relation to the information, and, where relevant, the territorial scope of the decision and its duration;
    2. the facts and circumstances on which our decision is based, including, where relevant, information on whether our decision was taken pursuant to a notice submitted or based on voluntary own-initiative investigations and, where strictly necessary, the identity of the notifier;
    3. information on the use of automated means in taking the decision, including information on whether our decision was taken in respect of content detected or identified using automated means;
    4. where our decision concerns allegedly illegal content, a reference to the legal ground relied on and explanations as to why the information is considered to be illegal content on that ground;
    5. where our decision is based on the alleged incompatibility of the information with our terms of use, a reference to the contractual provision relied on and explanations as to why the information is considered to be incompatible with that provision;
    6. information on whether redress is available to the person concerned against the measure, in particular – depending on the circumstances – internal complaint-handling mechanisms, out-of-court dispute settlement and judicial redress.
  4. Should a criminal offence have been committed through the publication of the illegal content, or should the commission of a criminal offence be suspected as a result, we will report our suspicion to the law enforcement or judicial authorities without undue delay.

b) Notice and action mechanism

  1. We examine illegal content as soon as we become aware of a suspicion that such illegal content has been published. We become aware either through our own review or through a notice of the content concerned submitted to our single point of contact (see point c below).

  2. Illegal content can be reported directly online. Notices must be addressed exclusively to our single point of contact (see point c below) and must contain at least the following information:

    1. a sufficiently substantiated explanation of the reasons why the notifying person or entity considers the information in question to be illegal content;
    2. a clear indication of the exact storage location of the content, e.g. by a precise URL, and further information useful for identifying the content, e.g. screenshots, remarks, etc.;
    3. the name and email address of the notifying person or entity, unless the matter concerns criminal offences relating to sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, child pornography or the solicitation of children for sexual purposes, including incitement, aiding and abetting, or attempt to commit the aforementioned offences (cf. EU Directive 2011/93/EU, Arts. 3 to 7);
    4. a statement confirming the bona fide belief of the notifying person or entity that the information and allegations contained in the notice are accurate and complete.
  3. We send the notifying person or entity an electronic confirmation of receipt of the notice to the contact details provided, without undue delay.

  4. We process the notices received in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner and decide whether the reported content is illegal, without a detailed legal examination, and act accordingly. Should the reported content be illegal, we will promptly remove, block or restrict it, for example, and, where applicable, take further measures referred to in point a(3).

c) Single point of contact for communication

We have set up a single point of contact for communication. It is responsible for receiving electronic notices from notifying persons about suspected illegal content and for enquiries from authorities or third parties relating to the handling of illegal content. Please observe the requirements of point b regarding the content of notices.

All persons, authorities or other bodies (press, persons affected, etc.) can report illegal content directly online using our procedure at:

[email protected]

We then deal with all notices within the process described in points a–c.

14. Miscellaneous

  1. Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain unaffected, unless the omission of individual clauses would place a contracting party at such an unreasonable disadvantage that it can no longer reasonably be expected to adhere to the contract.

  2. Amendments and additions to the Terms and to the entire contract between us require text form to be effective, unless the following explanations prescribe special form or procedural requirements.

    1. Amendments and additions that we make (or must make) due to changed legal or technical requirements for the provision of our Services and that have no negative impact on the Services to which you are entitled shall take effect if you do not object to the amendment within one (1) month of receipt of a notice of amendment in text form and we have informed you in advance of your right to object. If you object to the amendment, the contract continues unchanged and we are entitled to terminate the contract extraordinarily with one (1) month’s notice to the end of the following calendar month.
    2. Amendments and additions to the contract that we wish to make due to changed service, remuneration or other commercial or operational requirements and that have a negative impact on our contractual relationship for you shall only take effect if you expressly agree to them. This consent may be given by clicking a consent button in the notice of amendment (email or pop-up during the use of our Services) or in another simple and transparent way provided by us. In the absence of consent, the contract continues unchanged and we are entitled to terminate the contract within the contractually agreed notice periods.
    3. The text form requirement also applies to any amendment of this form clause. The precedence of individual collateral agreements remains unaffected.
    4. The aforementioned periods do not apply, and there is merely a right to be informed of amendments to the contract, where the amendments are necessary to avert an unforeseen and imminent danger in order to protect against fraud, malware, spam, data protection breaches or other cybersecurity risks.
  3. Both parties are entitled to transfer the contract to an affiliated company, a legal successor or a company taking over the respective services. They will inform each other of this in text form before the planned transfer.

Provisions concerning paid services

15. Conclusion of a contract for the use of paid services

  1. A contract for the use of paid services is concluded as follows:

    1. On our website/in our App you will find information on the content and costs of the paid services we offer. This information does not yet constitute an offer to conclude a contract for the use of our Services.
    2. Only by submitting the relevant booking form do you make us a binding offer to conclude a contract for the Services concerned.
    3. Before you submit the booking form, we inform you that the booking is subject to a charge and give you the opportunity to take note of these Terms.
    4. Furthermore, before you submit the booking form, we give you the opportunity to check your entries and correct them if necessary.
    5. After you submit the booking form, you will receive from us an acknowledgement of receipt of your booking at the email address you provided. This acknowledgement of receipt generally also constitutes acceptance of your offer to book the Service.
    6. In this email or in a separate email, we will send you the text of the contract (consisting of the order, the Terms, the order confirmation and the invoice) (contract confirmation).
    7. Upon full payment for the Services acquired, you will receive immediate access to the Services, provided that we can match your email address to the purchase. If you made the booking using an email address unknown to us, we will contact you by email to verify your username and activate the booked Service for you without undue delay.
  2. App and in-app purchases are concluded as follows:

    • The acquisition and download of our free App takes place in the App Store (hereinafter referred to as an “App Purchase”). The App Purchase is processed by the App Store. The conclusion of the contract and the processing of payment are governed by the terms of the App Store.
    • Premium features may be purchasable directly in the App (hereinafter referred to as an “In-App Purchase”). The In-App Purchase is processed by the App Store. The conclusion of the contract and the processing of payment are governed by the terms of the App Store.
    • The “purchase” of an app and/or the acquisition of premium features in principle means only the grant of a right of use in it. The scope and duration of the right of use granted depend on the respective Service (see above regarding the right of use).

16. Remuneration & payment terms

  1. The type and amount of the remuneration for the Service booked by you will be communicated to you during the booking process, in the booking overview and in the booking confirmation and, unless expressly stated otherwise, include statutory VAT.
  2. During the booking process, you will be informed of the available payment methods and can choose the payment method that suits you.
  3. Should we involve third-party providers to process the payment, their terms and conditions shall also apply.
  4. If you miss a statutory or agreed payment deadline, you are immediately in default and we are entitled to claim the corresponding default interest.
  5. Insofar as payment is made within the European Union (EU), we do not charge a separate fee for any of the means of payment we use. Please note that we only accept payments from accounts within the EU. Any costs of any other transaction shall be borne by you.
